Civil Aviation Authority gets new Director General

Colombo, March 13 (Daily Mirror)- Air Vice Marshal H.M.S.K.B. Kotakadeniya (Retd) has been appointed as the new Director General of Civil Aviation and its Chief Executive Officer.

He was appointed with the approval of the Cabinet of Ministers after the retirement of the former Director General of Civil Aviation.

The official appointment letter was presented by Ports, Shipping, and Aviation Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva.

Prior to assuming the role of Director General of Civil Aviation, AVM H.M.S.K.B. Kotakadeniya (Retd) served as a Director on the Board of Directors of CAASL since August 2022.
