Colombo, September 16 (Daily Mirror)- Those who have not received their poll cards can go to the nearest post offices this week, Post Master General Ruwan Sathkumara said yesterday.

He said those who have yet to receive their poll cards can collect their cards from September 18 to 21.

It was reported that more than 80 percent of poll cards have been distributed as of now and distribution was halted from September 14 2024.

Meanwhile Chairman Elections Commission R.M.A.L .Ratnayake said those voters whose name differs from the poll card and the national identity card should not fear as the most important document is the national identity card. He also said the voters have the option of getting a certification from the Grama Niladari confirming their identity.
