Colombo, September 27 (Daily Mirror) -  President Félix Tshisekedi of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) has sent a heartfelt message of congratulations to  President Anura Kumara Dissanayake on his recent electoral success.

In his message, President Tshisekedi highlighted the importance of Dissanayake's victory, describing it as a crucial turning point for Sri Lanka. He acknowledged that the election outcome reflects the people's desire for change and stability in the country.

On behalf of the Congolese people, the government, and himself, Tshisekedi expressed his warm congratulations and emphasized his aspiration to enhance the friendship and cooperation between the DRC and Sri Lanka. He noted that the relationship between the two nations holds significant promise under their shared leadership.

Concluding his message, President Tshisekedi offered his highest regards to President Dissanayake, affirming his dedication to strengthening diplomatic ties between the two countries. 

Tshisekedi also noted that this gesture symbolizes the growing diplomatic engagement between Africa and Sri Lanka, signaling a future of closer collaboration under the leadership of both presidents.
