Court clears path for Ambuluwawa cable car project

Colombo, October 16 (Daily Mirror) - The Court of Appeal today issued an interim order restraining the Divisional Secretary of Udapalatha, Gampola, from unduly interfering with or suspending the Cable Car Project in Ambuluwawa, which is being carried out by a private company.

The two-judge bench of the Court of Appeal, comprising Justices M.T. M. Lafar and P. Kumararatnam made this order pursuant to a writ petition filed by Amber Adventures (Private) Limited and this interim order will be effective till October 29.
