Court order on protesting doctors at Education Ministry

Kaduwela Magistrate today issued an order calling on the doctors occupying the Ministry of Education to vacate the premises.

About 200 doctors were waiting in the auditorium of Education Ministry since yesterday requesting a meeting with Minister Akila Viraj Kariyawasam over an anomaly in admitting Government doctors’ children to State National Schools.

Put them in jail without a court hearing. Close all government hospitals and medical schools. Lets all go to Singapore for treatment.

Just abolish the primary sections of all 'popular' schools and develop the primary schools around them. This will be a solution once and for all.

All the children should be equal in front of law. How can they expect special treatment in everything duty free car, special school etc. Already they had free education for their qualification

Harsha, Every citizen enjoys free education up to Advance Levels. Doctors are the people who hadn't wasted any money by passing A/L. The people who failed it have wasted lot more than doctors. It's better to study well without blaming them.

When working in the CEB;s Hydro Complexes in Laxapana and Mahaweli I had to run two homes (one in Colombo) to give my children a suitable education. Why cannot the Doctors (who are minting money) do so.

Go to the Eye Clinic the Snr Doctor will be having one leg on the Private Channel and all recently passed out are doing the work., But Go to Nawaloka or Asiri she will be there
