Covid-19 cases in prisons top 400

The total number of prison inmates and officers contracted with Covid-19 has increased to 437.

Commissioner General of Prisons Thusara Upuldeniya said that a total of 108 Covid-19 cases were reported today.

Accordingly, patients were reported from Welikada, Bogambara, Boossa, Marata and Kuruvita prisons.
