Daily COVID-19 cases exceed 1,000 for second consecutive day

The number of daily COVID-19 cases surpassed the 1,000 mark today for the second consecutive day.

This becomes the highest number of cases reported within a day.

Accordingly, a total of 1,451 persons tested positive for COVID-19 today.
