The Deaf School Past Pupils’ Association and the School for the Deaf, Ratmalana marked its 75th Anniversary with a series of events held at Ramadia Resort in Moratuwa recently.
The organising committee was led by Mahesh Jayawardena the Vice President of the Deaf School PPA, Ratmalana and President Shivantha Vivekanandan. 
The event was attended by Anusha Fernando (Principal/Patron, Deaf School PPA, Ratmalana), Buddhika Goonatilleke (Vice Principal), Zaharine Hameen (General Manager, Aitken Spence Travels) and several distinguished guests.

 
The events comprised a magic show, selecting the queen and the most handsome gent, a twisting contests, showing a film on the history of the Deaf School PPA, Ratmalana and awarding mementos and certificates to selected individuals. The dancing act was performed by the members of the Deaf School PPA, Ratmalana. 
Prabath Jayawardena was the Chief Guest at the occasion.
