Defence Secretary on inspection visit to CDRD

Defence Secretary Air Vice Marshal (Retired) Sampath Thuyacontha conducted an inspection visit to the Centre for Defence Research and Development (CDRD) located in Pitipana, Homagama, on Wednesday (30). Director General of the CDRD, Maj. Gen. Imal Assalaratchi welcomed the Defence Secretary. During the visit, the Defence Secretary was briefed on the operations of the CDRD, military-critical high-tech equipment, its ongoing projects and future plans. During the visit, he also engaged in a discussion with the officials.

What credentials he has to be become defence secretary? What else can you expect from a President who tried to defeat the budget the to stop war against LTTE when Mahinda was in power

He is qualified officer both academically and area of defense he has actively taken part in the war against LTTE, what credentials you expect, is it corruption like MR and RW?

Martin,Do you know this new Defense secretary's credentials. He has been a for front soldier in war during the height of it.Being a helicopter fighter pilot the amount of sacrifices he has done you martin is not knowing.I being a fellow soldier in the air force know about him and how much contributions he made just not only as a pilot but giving command to that entire fleet of fighter helicopters.No other defense secretaries ever has qualifications like him.Please get to know before commenting.
