Deputy Speaker clarifies that he is not a specialist

Colombo, Dec 17 (Daily Mirror) - Deputy Speaker Rizvy Sally today clarified that he is not a specialist doctor and never used the title in his official letterheads, visiting cards and prescriptions.

" I have categorically told that I should not be called a specialist in propaganda material during elections," he told Parliament.

Hats off Deputy Speaker, you are really a Legend. All the opposition seat heaters shut their mouth while doctor was talking. Namal is not a Lawyer because his Law exam was written by another Snr. Lawyer and MR paid him 4 million to him for this job. SJB, SLPP, SLFP has only few professionals but in the NPP, mostly over 90% are academically and professionally qualified.

In any case, he is an academic and has a doctorate in medicine. In contrast, many in the previous parliament only completed 6 school classes. Others can neither read nor write. Still others adorn themselves with lawyer's certificates which they have fraudulently obtained or did not have the school qualifications for.

That is not the only issue. He has no proper registration to practice even as a General Practitioner without supervision though he has breached this rule for more than 3 decades. Now it is up to the SL Medical Council to investigate the case and bring the culprit in to justice!
