Jaffna, Jan. 06 (Daily Mirror)- President Ranil Wickremesinghe said the development programme will be expedited to restore the income lost during the war in the North.

He also underscored the crucial role of religious harmony in economic development and the substantial impact that religious leaders can make in this effort.

These remarks were made during a meeting with all religious leaders of the Northern Province at the Jaffna District Secretariat this morning (06).
