Dharmasena Pathiraja passes away

Award winning film director and screen writer Dharmasena Pathiraja passed away at the age of 74 at a private hospital in Kandy this morning.

The funeral will take place today (28) at 4 pm at the Kandy Mahaiyyawa Cemetery. The remains now lie at the Nuwara Mal Shalawa (Funeral Parlour), Keppetipola Road, Kandy.

who could forget "Kadulla" teledrama. A masterpiece. It literally tells the rise of the elite of this country from humble beginnings. Great loss to the country.
