Digambaram unmoved over brawl with MP Velu Kumar

Colombo, August 24 (Daily Mirror) - Referring to his recent episode with MP Velu Kumar at a political talk show telecast over a private TV channel, MP P. Digambaram said he got annoyed with the former as he was making false allegations.

Both are from the Tamil Progressive Alliance. Mr. Kumar recently defected from it and decided to back President Ranil Wickremesinghe at the Presidential Election, whereas Mr. Digambaram is supporting Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) candidate Sajith Premadasa.

“I got angry as Mr. Velu Kumar made false allegations against me. Genuine people lose their temper when false allegations are made against them," he told Daily Mirror.

Meanwhile, MP Mano Ganesan who told media called for a probe on the matter. “It was a pre-planned incident by some interested parties.

MPs Velu Kumar and Digambaram were seen engaging in physical fist cuffs during a live political talk show telecast by a private TV channel.

Politicians should learn to be patient when accusations are levelled on them and give reply by words, not by fighting. Seasoned politicians excercise patience during political debates. Digambaram is not suitable to be a politician. He will better perform as a stunt actor in cinema. What a disgrace for the community he represents?

Digambaram is really a drug dealer, the Up-country plantation workers know it very well. His anger will subside to zero after the elections. Honestly, both are rogues even Venugopal too joined Ranil to get Bar permits and he had already got four permits which he made 40 million.

Not only Estate workers but also entire Sri Lankan population should understand the deep underlying meaning of the accusations. Both are MPs. One MPs accusation was the other MPs crossover was to get bar license. This was a form of bribe and the other MPs accusation was the former was involved in drug dealing. This accusations are eye opener for the entire Sri Lankans. They have brought disgrace to the important constitutional positions.

Problem is with the private TV channel for their publicity . We have many evidence. Eg: Former TNA MP late Raviraj vs Anura Kumara Disanayak, Mano Ganeshan vs ALM Athaulla and Velukumar vs Digambaram.
