Don’t change your voting pattern: RW tells people in North
President Ranil Wickremesinghe today told the people in the North not to change their voting pattern.
President Wickremesinghe was responding to the remark made by National People's Power (NPP) candidate Anura Kumara Dissanayake who, the other day had told the Northern people to follow the same pattern followed by the people in the South. "You voted for Sarah Fonseka in 2010 while people in the South voted for Mahinda Rajapaksa but nothing happened to you. You voted for Maithripala Sirisena in 2015 while the Sourthen people voted for Mahinda Rajapaksa.
However, nothing has happened to you. You voted for Sajith in 2019 but the Sourthen people voted for Gotabaya Rajapaksa. However, Gotabaya Rajapaksa did not harass you. Keep up with this pattern and I will guarantee that nothing will happen to you," he told a public rally in Jaffna.
"Anura Kumara Dissanayake should tender an apology to the Northern people for inflicting undue influence while he should apologise to the Sinhalese people for bringing disrepute to them. Also don't waste your franchise and therefore do not vote for Sajith either," he added.

poor Ranil is facing a defeat and he must have braveness to face the veracity of democracy. All indications are NPP is leading : looks the crowd around the country . NPP people wise and calm. they do not panic they move the ball carefully around the country: they work day and night to win. Vote NPP this time to see a real change.

Don't change your voting pattern but make sure RW is not elected.This selfish man has made sure that any issue relating to Tamils does not get resolved so that it will be a bargaining chip at future elections.

A change for Gota phase II as for; (i) Collecting 500 US $ each from Sri Lankan's who have migrated or abroad. (ii) Printing money (SL) resulting inflation (iii) Sell whatever available (iv) Take over all the Fixed deposits of Sri Lankans. (v) Money that swindled or illegally earned, to be made legal for using for government expenses. (vi) Devolution of Judicial power to carders with dispute resolution councils, like in 1988-90. (vii) Allowing loans for public without any guarantor so that the depositors will have no money in their accounts. What a real change indeed!

I hope the people will still remember pina' s handiwork of July/ August 1981 that instilled fear and hatred in the minds of the people of the Jaffna peninsula and led to horrific violence, which lasted for decades.

You mean with corrupt Rajapaksha clan like Rohitha (Diamond and X-pearl deals), Aluthgamage (In-organic stool manure deal), Rathwaththa (Udathalawinna massacre), Pavithra (Pots dropped and Dhammika Paniya), Chandrasena (Encroached forest reservations) etc. To sell everything possible at bargain prices even if profit making institutes and taxing ordinary people but friends. More taxes are to be enforced and intend to sell profit making institutes at bargain prices for commissions in return. And for disregarding the constitution and for the contempt of court, in every sense.

Non majority community has trusted Ranil for over 40 years as their PM and mostly as their cabinet minister. Last two plus years he has been the president. Still he did not do anything to resole the issues of the minority communities all over SL including the estate population. He even went to the extent of promising wage increase to Rs1,700 and then withdrew the gazette and had the audacity to say he did not promise. Its time onceagain to kick him out of poitics for good.
