Double homicide in Sella Kataragama
Two male bodies were recovered from a canal in Sella Kataragama on the Buttala Road this morning, Police said.
The victims, 45 and 50, who were residents of Tissamaharama had been hacked to death.
Police also recovered a motorcycle near the scene which they suspect may have been used by the suspects for the crime.
Police are investigating the murders.
