Dullas says his group holds different ideas on forming alliance with SJB

Colombo, Dec. 18 (Daily Mirror)- Member of Parliament Dullas Alahaperuma said members of his parliamentary group hold ideas on forming an alliance with the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB).

Allahaperuma was referring to media reports that said some of his group members are to join the SJB shortly. It was reported that MPs G. L. Pieris, Dilan Perera, Nalaka Godahewa and Channa Jayasumana are to join the SJB.

"Members of our group hold different ideas. This is natural when a party works in a democratic manner. There are divisions in our group but there is no confrontation among us," he told Daily Mirror.

It was reported that there are divisions in other opposition groups as well.

Meanwhile, SJB MP Harsha de Silva, who was responding to a question raised by journalists at a press conference, said only those who are clean and accept his party’s policies should be welcomed.

It’s nothing unusual for the people of this country as they have seen so many times of this dirty spectacle of corrupt useless politicians when en election is nearer. So all these discussions are based on how to get to the parliament to enjoy life and it’s nothing to do with the country or it’s people.

It will be a good move to join SJB to make it a strong party n opposition. They will hv to work on drawing up a combined manifesto to draw support of the other opposition parties. If senior politicians like GL, Godahewa, Dilan n Jayasumana joining SJB should have an edge over SLPP at the forthcoming election. With the SC judgement that leaders of SLPP are responsible for the collapse of our economy, together the skyrocketing high COL, SJB n other opposition parties may attract supporters of the Pohotuwa. The question now arises what role Ranil will play in the Presidential election n whether he will the backing ofall Pohotuwa MPs n its supporters.

SJB, don't take these ex-Pohottuwa losers who are jumping like frogs to save their political lives especially the Viyath (Vipath) Maga frauds like Jayasumana and Godahewa. Dylan Perera is another fraud. SJB will be better off not accepting these ex-Pohottuwa rogues including Vipath Maga frauds like Godahewa and Jayasumana. G L Pieris was the mouthpiece of the Rajapakses all these years. Take new young candidates who will beat the sh*t out of these frauds and dump them in the bin of political history.

There are unscruplous politicians in all Parties and only afew are clean. Even Prof. GLP who was enjoying the Foreign Ministers post was a strident defender of MR for all the wrong things the latter was doing as President.
