President Maithripala Sirisena today informed Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong that Sri Lanka would expect to add amendments to the Sri Lanka-Singapore Free Trade Agreement (SLSFTA), the President's Media Division said.

The President had said a few mistakes had been made by Sri Lanka when drafting the FTA.

The Singapore President is a figurehead (like what we need). So, our President should have said this to the Singapore PM. I wonder who is advising our President. By the way, should not our President's delegation, if to be taken seriously, be having govt ministers instead of members of the opposition? Our country may be looking silly and clueless in the eyes of the world.
