At least they agreed to do this in the interest of the students..that is great and they shouldn't have played with the lives of students for any demand..they might have some issues with the government but it shouldn't affect the education of the future generations of the country...some of these dons don't think logical and wisely ..they may have got PhDs and they have read hundreds of books but they luck wisdom; common sense and sense of humour ..That is why they behaved like this in this matter..but we should appreciate that they have finally taken some wise steps now ...

Not their sense of humour but sense of responsibility. Pity, I was in a way hoping to see their properties confiscated.

All their pompousness went down the drain after Ranil merely mentioned about confiscating their assets. It took them 2 months to realize that their actions affected AL students and come to heel ha haha!

We cannot blame them. They were manipulated by the union guys and we can make a good guess who was pulling the strings behind them. The vast majority of the workforce have a conciense and want to do the right thing. However they are prevented by their associations . Let's admire them for taking a stand against those elements and saying enough is enough.

In fact, they surrendered losing the opportunity to win the demands against unreasonable PAYE tax as they do a great service, without migrating which is commendable.

With this bunch at the helm of our higher education system, our country is doomed.

@ Johnson, So, the Pandora grade plundered people can get those, too, as their property won’t be confiscated.

Thank God, finally you decided to be reasonable. Your demands are fine. But you need to take the responsibility for your job and the future of our children. How long can these children waste their time and its a crime.

Stalin would be in Guantanamo if he was in America.
