Fatal accident in Pussellawa claims two lives, injures four

Colombo, April 14 (Daily Mirror) - An accident in the Helboda area of Pussellawa today (Sunday) has left two individuals dead, including a child, and four others injured after a van plunged down a precipice.

Police spokesman DIG Nihal Thalduwa confirmed the tragic incident, revealing that among the fatalities were a 2-year-old boy and a 70-year-old individual.

Further, four individuals sustained injuries in the accident and were rushed to hospital for medical treatment.

Further investigations into the accident are currently underway.

People don’t care during the festival session… despite all warning still people drive carelessly sometime drink and drive and some time over take carelessly and some time fast driving beyond the limits… Whatever action we take our accidents don’t go down☠️☠️☠️
