Fire trucks have drive on heavly jammed road all the time in that area. Its not the fire bridge to blame as they can't come from the sky. Airforce bucking water from the near by diyawannaoya lake is the best practicle solution to contain the fire . They should have arrive by air much earlier. By the way Srilanka's fire bridges are no way of closer to modern fire fighting units by trainning, fire fighting vehicles, equpts. etcc. we have ever increasing high rise buildings. I am in the fire industry. We have to lot more to deal with fire. Learn from a country like UAE/US.

Roads are blocked fire trucks are helpless unless they come by air.
