Colombo, Nov 25 (Daily Mirror) - firearm linked to a fatal shooting in Udugampola last year was recovered during the questioning of underworld figure Ganemulla Sanjeewa, detained by the Police. 

Organized criminal Sanjeewa Kumara Dharmaratne, alias 'Ganemulla Sanjeewa', is currently being interrogated at the Weeragula Police Station by officers from the Western Province North Crimes Division. 

Police found a pistol and ammunition hidden in a forest at Mulleriyawa, connected to the shooting and killing of a barber shop employee in Udugampola on August 6, 2022.
