Fonseka criticising Sajith as he was denied presidential candidacy: Digambaram

Hatton, June 21 (Daily Mirror)- Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka criticised SJB leader and Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa as Fonseka was not given the Presidential candidature as requested, Tamil Progressive Alliance Deputy Leader Parliamentarian Palani Digambaram said.

He said Fonseka expected to contest as the Presidential candidate of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya.

He said this while speaking at a meeting at Weli Oya in Hatton today.

Digambaram said Fonseka is a person who has criticised leaders of all the parties that he represented.

He said Fonseka, who has a military mentality is plotting to join President Ranil Wickremesinghe's camp.

Fonseka is 73y and does not have any patience and shows that he is also coming from a bad background. His true mentality comes out when ever he tries to speak about anyone who has assisted him in past. If not for Gota this foul mouth guy will not have become the army commander. If not for Sajith this fellow would not have even entered parliament. Kind of a dog to be honest. Luckily this fellow did not win at 2010. Otherwise he would have killed so many innocent guys as well.

What is the public effect of the statement or "revelation" by MP Palani Digambaran that Fonseka sought the presidential nomination in the SJB and did not get it!? What is the point of his comment about Fonseka's sharp criticism of the various party leaders!? And what is the point of the suggestion as to who Fonseka might join after the election!!! These are all more or less stupid statements by a man who is politically underdeveloped but wants to play a role, wants to expose himself in order to be noticed by the public!!! Fonseka criticized the various party leaders objectively and factually because they did not live up to their political aspirations in any way!!! What Fonseka, as an independent presidential candidate, will do after the election depends solely on his strategic considerations!!! Digambaran's attempt to harm Fonseka, by far the best of all presidential candidates, with his statement will prove to be a misfire by a political dilettante and self-promoter!!!

Digambaram, without giving lame excuses on behalf of Sajith, should talk about what Fonseka said. Fonseka's verbal attack on Sajith and Lakshman Kiriella cannot be taken lightly. Frankly Sajith has nothing to say in reply, because what Fonseka said was the absolute truth.

What nonsense is Digambaran talking about Fonseka getting nomination from the SJB when Sajith the incumbent opposition leader has expressed his intention of contesting the next Presidential election. This man is too big for his boots and he needs to wait for the time by being humble and patient otherwise he will only be a "DOOR MAT' as the saying goes to be a" Good Leader you should be a good Follower" "!!!!!!!

Fonseka has the Army Discipline of "Do as I say" He is good for the Army but not politics where it is the art of the possible practised by Ranil. Consensus is not practised in the Army and when you serve as Commander, the ego is elevated.
