Former CCD director Nevil Silva arrested

Former Director of the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD), Assistant Superintendent of Police Nevil Silva has been arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department.

Police said he was arrested at the Police Field Force Headquarters.

He has reportedly been arrested in connection with an incident of kidnapping and wrongful detention.
