Four State Ministers removed from office



Colombo, September 05 (Daily Mirror) -  Four State Ministers have been removed from their positions with immediate effect by President Ranil Wickremesinghe.

The removed Ministers are Premalal Jayasekara, who served as the State Minister of Ports & Aviation Services, State Minister of Power & Energy Indika Anuruddha, State Minister of Agriculture Mohan Priyadarshana de Silva, State Minister of Highways Siripala Gamlath.

According to the President's Media Division (PMD), the decision was made under the authority granted by Article 47(3)(a) of the Constitution of Sri Lanka.

All the removed individuals have announced their support for Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP)’s Presidential Candidate, Namal Rajapaksa.

Mohan Priyadarshana de Silva was recently appointed as the Galle District leader while Indika Anuruddha was appointed as the Gampaha District leader of the SLPP
