Good he has started doing some “Housekeeping”! Should have done it some time back all these plus the pledges he has made these past few days. Need to start prosecuting all those responsible for corruption and the unresolved murder cases too. If he starts the process now, might get a better chance of winning the Presidency. If not, AKD will be the winner as majority of the educated citizens has had enough of these regimes over the years fattening most of themselves physically and their wealth. People want to see and feel concrete changes for the betterment of SL instead of being stagnant in comparison with most other educated Asian countries.

RW happened to be most convenient choice for rajapakshas to be selected as prime minister and later president , he was nonentity with only himself in parliament, these four ministers, too voted for RW,over their own party man Dallas, to select him as president

Without slpp support rw would have never become pm or president. If RW did not have the support of slpp, he would have lost the pm post as opposition would have done the same like what was done for MR when latter was appointed as pm by sirisena. Opposition had the majority and they were able to challenge that appointment but not this time.

Oh you prefer a man who swindled Rs.285 billion with the VFS scam and Advani Wind project Rs.405 billion. This in 2 years. Of course, the Bond scam and letting off Mahendran is a small scam as the VFS scam alone is more than 86 Bond scams. All the money goes out. At least Rajapakses misspent over 10years, only Rs. 540 billion for Mattala airport, Matara Mattala Hiway, Nelum kuluna and H'tota Port, altogether, and we have at least some value from them in the future. Vote for corruption.

I think it is a joke an insult to say that the country is better now. RW has sold our nation and put us in massive debt. He solved the queues by putting us in debt. Solving a problem by getting into debt is no big achievement. What people need to remember is he is the biggest thief as together with with Mr Aloysius they together robbed the central bank of SL. I wouldn't be surprised to find his share of the money in foreign accounts. If we can get all the money back from these crooks we don't have to be in debt.

This is by far the biggest service to the nation by Ranil. Can you think of any other person who can achieve this? Ranil should be retained for this achievement which no other could even think of. Once the grip of MR on power is broken, any Tom, Dick and Harry or AKD or Saith can rule the country without any threat!
