Kiribathgoda, Dec 19 (Daily Mirror)- Four individuals including a woman have been arrested in connection with an incident at a nightclub in Kiribathgoda, where an individual had fired multiple shots into the air.
The incident occurred around 2 am on Monday, with the perpetrator fleeing the scene with associates in a car.
Police said the man allegedly under the influence of alcohol had engaged in an altercation over a girl, resulting in four shots being fired inside the club and two shots outside.
No injuries or damage to property were reported in the incident.
The Ragama Police arrested the suspects, aged between 20 and 25, and also seized 5,200 milligrams of heroin in their possession.
The suspects, residents of Ragama and Modera, were detained for further questioning after being produced before the Welisara Magistrate's Court.
