Four judges appointed to Court of Appeal

Colombo, September 6 (Daily Mirror)- President Ranil Wickremesinghe has appointed new judges to the Court of Appeal, effective September 6, 2024, under Article 107 of the Constitution, President's Media Division (PMD) said.

The appointees are former Judges of the High Court KMGH Kulatunga, D. Thotawatte, RA Ranaraja and former Senior Deputy Solicitor General MCLB Gopallawa.

Though we opt to dislike President RW, he seems to be doing a few things right with regards to Judicial matters. This year appointment of PCs (Presidents Counsels) was done in a much more acceptable manner by having an evaluation criteria. He does not over ride or bulldoze the EC directives on providing lunch etc, Does not seem to be interfering with judicial decisions, a few things are been done right compared to previous Presidents.

Yes he seems to be doing a few things right. Two of the biggest scams, disregarding SC orders, Breaking all Election Commission guidelines, surrounding himself with the worst corrupt SLPP MPs just to name a few.

In any community, in this world, you WOULDN'T OBTAIN ELIGIBILITY, APTITUDE, LEADERSHIP, RATIONAL THINKING, ADAPTABILITY AND IMPORTANTLY MERIT, in the SAME IDENTICAL WAY, in RATIO and PROPORTION as the ETHNIC, RACIAL and RELIGIOUS MIX of that community!!?? "NOT EVEN INEPTNESS" is EVER found in that RATIO
