Colombo, May 03 (Daily Mirror) - The price of a plate of fried rice and kottu will be reduced by Rs. 20 from tonight, the Canteen Owners' Association announced.
The association's president, Harshana Rukshan, explained that this price cut follows a decrease in the retail prices of gas cylinders from the major domestic LP gas providers.
Accordingly, the cost of a plate of kottu and a plate of fried rice will both drop by Rs. 20.
However, no decision was taken for the reduction for a cup of milk tea or plain tea.
