Georgian Ex-Minister and Tiran Alles discuss on anti-corruption measures

Colombo, July 4 (Daily Mirror) - Former Georgian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Justice Eka Tkeshelashvili engaged in talks with Public Security Minister Tiran Alles at the Ministry of Public Security regarding the adaptation of international anti-corruption measures for Sri Lanka.

The Ministry said that Tkeshelashvili, known for her leadership in global anti-corruption initiatives, shared insights and experiences during the meeting.

The Ministry further said that discussions on the implementation challenges of Sri Lanka's anti-corruption program were held between them. They explored potential solutions involving international measures tailored to local needs.

In Georgia, I repeatedly noticed SUVs with heavily tinted windows speed with total immunity. Including by Police that allow them to traverse roads that are blocked to traffic. Maybe the police were facilitating a speedy journey for a VVIP. My local host said the passengers were either top business people or politicians

It's funny that this man talks about curbing corruption. He made his millions of GBP from dirty deals and is accused of money laundering in the UK. His latest corrupt misdeeds in Sri Lanka are the VFS visa issuance and the health check for residence visa holders. He probably also profits from his convicted torturer's dealings with drug barons backed by politicians.
