Ginger prices up

The price of ginger has shot up to Rs.3200 in the market that resulted in a declining demand. Traders pointed out that the farmers were selling seed ginger to make a fast buck, but the medicinal ginger or the local ginger was in short supply.

Traders pointed out that heavy rains experienced recently had resulted in crop devastation and the resultant shortage.

possibility crops would have got devastated to an extent.will wait a little time and see if prices will get reduced.But Coconut Oil like this very important ingredient prices went up but never came down!!!

Looks like there is no more ginger plain tea. That was the only thing poor man could afford. Bit of luxury in plain tea.
