Government refutes spending Rs. 7 million for ’Clean Sri Lanka’ inauguration

Parliament, January 10 (Daily Mirror)- The government today refuted claims that Rs. 7 million was spent for the inauguration of the 'Clean Sri Lanka' programme held at the Presidential Secretariat recently.

Chief Government Whip, Minister Nalinda Jayatissa told Parliament that only Rs. 900,000 has been approved as payments for the event.

He said that payment has also not been made yet.
