Government to probe Channel 4 exposure on Easter Sunday attacks
The government will conduct a probe into the disclosures by Channel 4 on the Easter Sunday attacks, Minister Manusha Nanayakkara told Parliament today.
"The Cabinet has decided to appoint a parliamentary select committee to probe into exposure by Channel 4. International-level investigations will also be conducted if necessary," the minister said. (Yohan Perera and Ajith Siriwardana)

We should appoint a committee to check all committees so far appointed and they have been in work-in -progress for the past 50 years. May be next year we could appoint another committee to check the progress of the committee appointed to investigate the previous committees.

Everyone in this Committee are Highly Professional, Utmost Honest and Competent like no other. Conclusion of `Parliamentary Select Committee' investigation:: "No credible evidence available. All are innocent. Case Closed. Westereners trying to meedle in our domestic affairs !!.". Forgone conslusion . ONLY an International Mechanism will uncover the whole truth. No culprit - no matter how high up they are - should be spared. SriLanka Domestic Mechanism NOT credible.

I am from India. We have for several decades experienced countless terrorist attacks. We have always found out the guilty with more than enough evidences. However, there are people, organisations and nations with vested interests who fund and promote such documentaries to misguide people by placing the blame on others and cover up the actual perpetrators. I hope Sri Lankan people realise this and dont react to this rubbish piece of misleading documentary. Violent reactions by Lankans will only cause more complications in an already struggling economy and this is probably what is intended by those who have released this report on Channel 4. Rebuilding national economy should be Lanka's top priority at the moment and India will always stand by Lanka to help
