The government today vowed to take action soon against all those behind the Easter Sunday attacks.
Tourism Minister Prasanna Ranatunga told reporters in Minuwangoda that the ministerial committee that studied the presidential commission’s report on the Easter Sunday attack will hand over its recommendations to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa by next Monday.
Prasanna said only two months had passed after the presentation of the report by the presidential commission that probed the serial bombings and the government would take correct decisions regarding the wrong doers soon.
The committee was chaired by Irrigation Minister Chamal Rajapaksa. Others included Highways Minister Johnston Fernando, Energy Minister Udaya Gammanpila and Ports and Shipping Minister Rohitha Abyegunawardane. (Kelum Bandara)
