Harin Fernando appointed Sports Minister; Pavithra gets Irrigation

Colombo (Daily Mirror) - Harin Fernando has been appointed as the Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs by President Ranil Wickremesinghe.

He took oaths as the Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs before the President at the Presidential Secretariat a short while ago.

Minister Harin Fernando also served as a former Minister of Sports and is also the present Minister of Tourism.

Meanwhile, Pavithra Wanniarachchi was sworn in as the Minister of Irrigation.

These ministerial portfolios fell vacant following the removal of Roshan Ranasinghe.

Lady from Ratnapura a failed Minister over a long period has been given another post, she is now qualified to be a Prime Minister based on the no of positions held, but her overall performance is zero and leaves a lot to be desired. Her appointment is proof how Bankrupt the President and Government is to stay in power.

The so called rapist, the cricketer, proved innocent to the only charge prosecutor put forward for the trial. Before the trial police withdrew 3 charges. The judge blamed the prosecutor of bringing in weak cases to the court. He has been discharged and no more an alleged rapist. Fly a kite.
