Harin explains why Ranil reduced public rallies
Colombo, Sep 11 (Daily Mirror) - Presidential candidate Ranil Wickremesinghe's campaign team has strategically reduced the number of public rallies from 92 to 84, Harin Fernando said.
Earlier, MP Dayasiri Jayasekera had claimed that more than 30 of Wickremesinghe's political rallies and meetings were cancelled due to lack of public support.
In response, Fernando explained that the reduction in rallies was a deliberate strategy to enhance the campaign's focus on one-on-one professional forums.
"In order to allocate resources more effectively and prioritise deeper engagement with key stakeholders and focused groups with professionals, Ranil WIckremesinghe's campaign team strategically reduced the number of public rallies from 92 to 84. This decision allowed for an increased focus on one-on-one professional forums, resulting in a total of 200 engagements between Ranil WIckermesinghe and various sectors," he shared on X platform.
