Heavy traffic was reported in Colombo and suburbs because of the heavy showers experienced in the city today. Vehicle movement on number of exit roads from Colombo had been disrupted due to heavy showers.

Colombo 13,14,15 are totally neglected.Roads like - Opposite Jetawanaramaya,Bloemendhal road,Armour Street get flooded during heavy shower. I witness this from my school days. Now I am a retiree. What a development. CMC never does any work.

This is the result of "NO" planning at all. Multi storied apartments are propping up in every nook and corner of Colombo and its suburbs. But, the necessary infrastructure like roads, parking, drainage, water and electricity are not being properly provided.

Aluthmawarga Road is the worst road in the city, school children and others are greatly inconvenienced for the last 8 to 10 months,
