An Extraordinary Gazette has been issued by President Ranil Wickremesinghe revoking the order issued declaring the High Security Zones.

On September 23, an Extraordinary Gazette notification was issued by the President declaring several areas in Colombo as High-Security Zones.

Revoking gazette notices seem to be the way to go. However, if this was not removed things could have got ugly and will not go down well with the international community, especially with the UNCHR. Next the Rehabilitation Bill, unless it applies to all the corrupt politicians, the Rajapakses and those dancing to the pohottuwa songs.

Gazette notifications are issued at a moment's notice only to be revoked within a few days. The reverse gear mentaligy introduced by the goat continues unabated. On the instructions of equally stupid guys in charge of defense, the modern day hitler will issue any notice without thinking twice, if his survival is assured. Worst of all, the economy has been in reverse gear for three years with increasing momentum. This is prosperity.

People will never understand the sacrifices that Presidents RW, MR and GR have made for the benefit of the people. They are the main reason why Sri Lanka is not yet under occupation by India and China. Unlike before, it is good that they are all together now....which could bring about a big turning point for SL. So called leaders like SP, SF Have nothing to contribute to the country. They can just be members of parliament or at the maximum hold some ministerial post. They cannot give any leadership to a country.
