The Wildlife Conservation Department today requested the public to refrain from visiting Block 2 of the Yala National Park and the Horton Plains National Park because of the prevailing adverse weather conditions.

Department’s Publicity Officer Hasini Sarathchandra told Daily Mirror that the roads in Block 2 of the Yala National Park and entry roads to the Horton Plains National Park had been washed away by the torrential rains that lashed the area. (Kalathma Jayawardhane)
