’I am eligible for national list slot’: Hirunika

Colombo, November 20 (Daily Mirror)- Hirunika Premachandra said today that she is eligible for the National List slot in the event the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) decides to allocate one of its five slots to a woman.

"I have obtained more than 30,000 preferential votes and that is a considerable amount. Besides, I have worked for the SJB with commitment," she told journalists.

Definitely, Hinunika should be a National List appointee. She has worked hard and she is one who had the guts to protest against Ranil. She worked hard even during the Presidential election.

She deserves it for sure. Ranjith M, Imtiaz BM, Eran, Hirunika and Mano G or Sudharshani Fernandopulle or anyone else except Sujeewa Senasinghe should be the national list entrants.
