’I do associate with President’: Fonseka

Colombo, Feb 19 (Daily Mirror) - Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Sarath Fonseka said today that he does associate with President Ranil Wickremesinghe, but it is a different kind of relationship.

"It was Ranil who introduced me to politics. Therefore, I do associate with him," Fonseka told journalists.

"I have no intention of joining the National Peoples Power. There is a difference between my politics and theirs," he added.

SF should form his own political party and see how many people will vote for him not more than 10000 votes, SF got 100,000 votes because of the party SJB led by Sajith. It is depressing and shocking how outrageous some of the comments are about Sarath Fonseka's personality!!! Obviously these are people who have gotten to know him directly over the years!!! Because you can only judge their personality if you have accompanied a person for a long time!!! The fact is, however, that Fonseka has demonstrated the extraordinary character of his personality through his brilliant military achievements and his services to his country!!! Personalities of his stature, his independence, steadfastness and foresight always provoke contradiction and criticism! There is nothing wrong with that if they are well-founded and relevant! The principle of thinking first and then speaking (or commenting!) is especially true when it comes to someone's honor and reputation!!!
