Big Disappointment on Decision for Sri Lankan Airlines Monday, 30 September 2024 04:13 PM

Seriously reconsider on the status of Sri Lankan Airline. A big letdown so far by the new government as it’s bleeding the government coffers. Many expected NPP to allow a private entity to take over the airline. Maybe allow them to run it for 25 to 35 years for a start. Come up with an actual action plan if not there will be speculations and might affect the results of the coming elections!

Don’t talk absurdities. NPP have come to govern with a manifesto, not to make policy on the run, like your previous heros have done. NPP have been consistently saying that SL will not be sold nor privatised, based on their own studies and discussions. Obviously you have not followed them or their policies and now making wild comments. They will stick to their promises. There are serious reasons for this policy. Read up buddy.

Ensure Only Confirm Policy Changes Are Announced Monday, 30 September 2024 04:30 PM

Need to inform all the party members not to bring up policy changes to press without ensuring it can be done. The recent announcement about the Perks of Ex President will be looked into but later updating might have legal challenges. Most want NPP to govern SL but not the same way as previous regimes. Need to take this advice seriously, if not the confidence of the party will evaporate gradually!
