India became the new Asian women champions as they thrashed Sri Lanka by 8 wickets in the final on Saturday in Sylhet.
Chasing an easy 66-run target, Smriti Mandhana top-scored with an unbeaten 51 off 25 balls. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur also returned unbeaten on 11.
Earlier, India restricted Sri Lanka to 65 for 9 in 20 overs in the big finale on Saturday in Sylhet.
