Colombo, August 30 (Daily Mirror) - India's National Security Advisor Ajit Doval met SLPP Presidential candidate Namal Rajapaksa in Colombo today where the duo discussed several areas of mutual concern.

During his visit in Colombo, Ajit Doval also met presidential candidates President Ranil Wickremesinghe, Sajith Premadasa and Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

Doval arrived in Colombo on Thursday (29) to follow-up on the ongoing Colombo Security onclave (CSC) initiative.

India's National Security Advisor meets President, Namal what is going on? I thought there is an election on where the people have to elect a leader and decide how to run the country.Can't he wait till after the election and then discuss his security concerns if any with the elected leader.Coming from a democracy which recently had elections Iam sure he should appreciate that thanks.
