Isipathana College maintained their perfect start to the season, claiming the maximum available points, after beating DS Senanayake College 22-06 at Havelock Park. 

DS Senanayake, who returned to top flight schools' rugby this season, made a valiant effort, and remained within touching distance of the defending champions at half-time, trailing by just four points at 10-06. 

Isipathana, however, overpowered their opponents the second half, scoring 12 unanswered points, earning the bonus point with their fourth try, while DS Senanayake failed to add to their two first half penalties.
