Italian and British nationals arrested in Kandy

Kandy, Nov 04 (Daily Mirror) - Two foreign nationals have been arrested by the Kandy Tourism Police for violating visa conditions while staying in Sri Lanka.

Police said the suspects—a 22-year-old Italian and a 32-year-old British national—were arrested in Buwelikada and subsequently handed over to the Kandy Police Station.

I think this is going to effect the tourism, Make them pay at the BIA on their departure for overstaying, if they are not able to pay the penalty then detain them
