Jaffna Kings has secured Towhid Hridoy,  a sensational young cricketer from Bangladesh for the LPL 2023.

Hridoy is a 22 year old stylish right hand batsman and his 92 off 85 ball is the highest individual innings on ODI debut by a Bangladeshi batsman.

Hridoy has made his T20i debut against England on 9 March 2023. He has maintained strike rate of 135.65 in 7 innings played in T20i for Bangladesh. 

He will temporary replace Shoib Malik who will  join the team after first few matches.

Nandre Burger, a Bowling Allrounder from South Africa will join Jaffna Kings for LPL 2023. Burger is a Left Arm Fast Bower/ Left Hand Batsman  and a T20 specialist.  

He has represented South Africa, South Africa A, Cape Town Blitz, Nelson Mandela Bay Giants, Cape Cobras,  SA Western Province, Joburg Super Kings in various formats. 

He wll replace Zaman Khan who was originally picked to play for Jaffna Kings and he is not available due to personal reasons.
