Jagath Priyankara to fill vacancy created by Sanath Nishantha’s death

Colombo, Jan 25 (Daily Mirror) - Jagath Priyankara from the Jathika Nidahas Peramuna is to fill the vacancy created by the sudden death of State Minister Sanath Nishantha, who met with a fatal accident this morning.

Accordingly, the government will lose a seat as Priyankara is the district leader of the Jathika Nidahas Peramuna led by Wimal Weerawansa who sits in Opposition along with other MPs representing his party.
