Japan congratulates Sri Lanka on debt restructuring

Colombo, June 27 - Japanese Ambassador Mizukoshi Hideaki extended congratulations to Sri Lanka for its recent accomplishments in debt restructuring.

The commendation came during a meeting with Sri Lanka's Foreign Minister Ali Sabry at the Foreign Ministry today.

Ambassador Mizukoshi praised Sri Lanka's efforts and achievements in effectively managing its debt obligations.

Beyond the economic sphere, the meeting between Ambassador Mizukoshi and Foreign Minister Ali Sabry also focused on enhancing bilateral relations between Japan and Sri Lanka. They discussed upcoming initiatives and opportunities to strengthen the longstanding ties that bind the two nations.

The upcoming visit of Foreign Minister Ali Sabry to Japan was a key topic of discussion, with both parties expressing optimism about its potential to deepen cooperation and explore new avenues for mutual benefit.
