Former Power and Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera has lost his parliamentary seat in the Matara district, as the New Democratic Front (NDF) failed to secure any seats in the 2024 General Election.

Not him but its the ordinary people who had to work hard to pay the electricity bills. People had to pay for the corruption. RW did nothing to curtail corruption.

NPP new government should attend to ex minister wijesekara’s controversial agreements with foreign companies,which made reducing prices of petroleum products is impossible , guy is a known crook no shame to betraying people for his own profit and we are not expecting excuses, as it’s chairman of petroleum spluttered to explain
