Hope as usual pattern that the doctors will not provide fake letters saying that the accused is having an illness and he should be taken to prison hospital for treatment. If such a letter is issued by a doctor judiciary should conduct an inquiry as this man was seen hail and hearty a day before in the courts.

We now have an independent Judiciary who are fearless to make orders on politicians provided they are at fault. SC gave the start and now our lower judiciary is following.

We must appreciate the civil activists’ relentless effort to catch one of the Rats that was destroying the economy and funds obtained from IMF, which, even the Bribery commission, the COPE and opposition could not do it. President should have sacked him instead he changing his portfolio.Like this we want solution for other scams as well.

It is the duty of all to see that the law is enforced to the last letter if we want to progress as a country. Otherwise all of us will fail and we will be a failed state and a colony of another country.

Looks as though justice is being done, at least this time, belatedly though it may be. However, just consider what a hassle it had been for the entire country, the people who went blind and those who paid with their lives for the dastardly actions of these crooks.

Release this innocent man. It is the drug mafia connected to SJB/JVP that should be in prison.

This guy will never be incarcerated for his crimes. Like all corrupt politicians he will be set free by a corrupt judiciary and government. 76 years of corrupt, bankrupt, vile independence.

Ah Saturday, 03 February 2024 05:45 PM
Evening he will end up at prison hospital per doctor's recommendation. No proper reason would be given but fell sick. This is as good as being bailed. Must call for second opinion from other doctors. These prison doctors licenses must be cancelled if they are caught lieing

Even if Keheliya is found guilty and sent to Prison, Ranil Rajapaksa would grant him a Presidential Pardon as Sirisena and Gotabhaya granted Presidential Pardons.

No former Health Minister equal to Keheliyaa Saturday, 03 February 2024 07:03 PM
Does this mean that Keheliyaa has fallen out of favor from former rulers? Nobody wants to tarnish their names associating with him. Even Wimala Wijayawardhane the Health Minister during SWRD's rule, did not stoop to this low level, even though she was not a paragon of virtue!

Since Keheliya has entered the Prison Hospital, why not treat him with the same drugs he imported illegally?

Medicines imported by Keheliya waiting for him Sunday, 04 February 2024 07:46 AM
He will not dare to get admitted to ANY HOSPITAL in Sri Lanka, because those fake medicines HE imported will be administered HIM. Very pathetic situation for Keheliya. This is worse than punishment.

Typical result, Remanded stay in Hospital. What nonsense is this. By now he would have been provided with good food all the facikitues and possibly a mistress for the night too.

Yukthiya Saturday, 03 February 2024 09:46 PM
It is understood he is at the prison's hospital as expected. Already there are several doctors in remand custody in this case. Next should be the prison doctor for accommodating all these Duminda's and Keheliya's under the false pretext of various illnesses in to the prison hospital. They should brought brought to face the judiciary for contempt of court.

How about the person who is responsible for the murder of 290 church worshipers on Easter Sunday. Do the right thing. The Judiciary and the Parliament are gone to sleep. Wake up Ranil and round up the killers, then you might have a chance of winning an election and world prominence.

Sri Lankans are spending their time on week to week mega stories, last week it was Sanath Nishantalha, This week Kheheliya, next week what? Some tines back it was that Submarine which exploded, so this is the country full of people just living on story telling and watching and listening. The Youtubers are becoming very busy and this is apparently a good source of dollars to the country. I am glad that Kheheliya was remanded but Rajitha too should be treated tge same way. They are all rougues, then you have Mahindananda, Jonston, Kiriella, Sirisena, Raja family, so many. May be you might have to covert some places as prisons to accommodate these guys.

He will be only remanded for 15 days and what about the millions and millions of poor mans money he has played out. Will that be recovered or not. If the public is to have faith in the law of this country they the stolen money should be recovered.

Keheliya Rambuwella will have to keep holding a Ministry because if he is removed for corruption, all the Ministers will have to be removed as all are corrupt.
