Kelaniya Dec 8 (Daily Mirror) - The Vice Chancellor of the University of Kelaniya has issued a statement regarding the resumption of activities in the faculties, subsequent to their temporary closure earlier this week.

Accordingly, the Faculties of Science, Computer Technology and Management Studies are scheduled to recommence operations on December 11 (Monday) while the reopening of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities is planned for December 18.

All faculties at Kelaniya University, with the exception of the Faculty of Medicine, were temporarily closed on Monday (Dec. 04) until further notice due to an alleged assault incident. Students were directed to leave their respective hostels by 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday (Dec. 05).
